The illustrations on these playing cards come from a portfolio of prints printed and published by Josef Franz Kaiser. Since the same approach was used for the Tarock cards with views of Graz and its surroundings by Leopold Milchram, it seems plausible that the pack was originally intended for Milchram and that Neumann completed the project after Milchram's death.
